With professional ice-skaters, fabulous costumes and fairy-tale scenery, Disney On Ice brings a spectacular show to The NIA every year - and this year’s promises to match them all! In an original story that picks up right where the Disney/Pixar movie The Incredibles left off, Disney On Ice invites audiences to join the super hero family on a fun-filled Disneyland adventure.
The Incredibles – Bob, Helen, Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack – attempt to be a ‘normal’ family as they enjoy Disney’s most popular theme park attractions and meet famed Disney friends whilst trying to maintain their secret identities - with little success. The Incredibles’ super powers keep popping up at inopportune times resulting in a series of comical mishaps. But it’s no laughing matter when a robot-copy of the maniacal Syndrome shows up to spoil the fun – will the Incredibles save the day? Join them on their adventure through Disneyland as they dance to a groovy beat on the Jungle Cruise with Baloo the Bear, battle swashbuckling pirates in Pirates of the Caribbean, brave the spooky thrills of a haunted mansion, spin wildly through the Mad Tea Party with Alice and Madhatter and soar to new heights at Space Mountain with Toy Story’s Buzz Lightyear.
Tickets are priced from £10.50 to £32.50.

Music Maze is an exciting series of fun, creative, participatory workshops for children age 8 – 11 organised and run by Birmingham Contemporary Music Group (BCMG). The workshops take place at the CBSO Centre and are led by BCMG Education Manager Nancy Evans, composer Liz Johnson and BCMG musicians. Each workshop is linked to music performed by BCMG in its concerts.
November's Music Maze will take as its inspiration the wonderful Latin American rhythms from the music of the Mexican composer Sylvestre Revueltas who will feature in the BCMG concert on Saturday 24 November.
Children who attend the workshop on Saturday 17 November will be entitled to a free ticket for themselves and a concessionary ticket for a parent/guardian to come to the BCMG Series Concert on Saturday 24 November at the CBSO Centre. At the concert Music Maze participants have front row seats, specially designed children's programmes and a special area for children in the interval with free refreshments. BCMG concerts start at 7.30pm and last around 2 hours. We understand that the concerts sometimes finish too late for children and therefore, if you need to leave after the interval, we won't mind!
Children do not need to play a musical instrument to take part.Places are limited and must be booked in advance.
