Brief (academic) bio
I am currently based at Birmingham City University as a senior lecturer in the School of Health Sciences and course lead for the MSc Speech and Language Therapy.
Before that I taught phonetics, phonology, and various other areas of linguistics at Leeds Metropolitan University (now Leeds Beckett University; 2005-06), University College London (2004-05), University College Dublin (2003-04). I gained my PhD from the University of Groningen in 2004.
