Narrative
Gerry Thompson has provided the following information from George's death certificate:
"He was 18 a shoemaker. He had Typhus Fever for 3 weeks. In attendance at the death in Yardley was Rebecca Radley?.
There is no mention of a middle name for George. The name Radley is rather tricky to make out - it certainly starts RA and ends LEY. There is a Rebecca Ratley b 1796 on the 1841 census living in Yardley Hastings. By 1851 she seems to have become Rebecca Riddey Innkeeper in Yardley. All a bit tenuous perhaps but a lodger at the (Unnamed) Inn was Sarah Spence a Nurse."
