Our book ratings
Where I review a book I also give it a star rating.
(3 stars) for books I think are fantastic and would like to have in my own library at home.
(2 stars) for lovely books that are worth getting out from the library.
(1 star) for books that have some nice things about them.
- (no stars) are given to books that just don’t do it for us (but who knows, maybe they’ll be just right for something you have in mind…).
Warning: The reviews here often “give away” the plot of the story – as this blog is as much about the activities inspired by the books (or which inspire us to read the book in the first place), I sometimes summarize the entire plot of a book so you can see where we’ve got our ideas from. Hopefully this won’t spoil your enjoyment of the books!
